Cardiac Cath Lab
Warren Memorial Hospital has recently expanded our cardiovascular services
with the addition of a cardiac catheterization (cath) lab. Cardiac catheterization
is a minimally invasive way to access blood vessels around the heart in
order to capture diagnostic images and/or treat blockages.
Our cath lab in Front Royal offers patients more local access to high-quality
diagnostic and interventional services. We are collaborating with highly
experienced cardiologists, vascular surgeons and cath lab staff from Valley
Health's
Heart & Vascular Center at Winchester Medical Center to offer a range of outpatient services including
diagnostic caths, non-surgical coronary interventions (PCI) and peripheral
vascular interventions. For patients who need additional testing or interventions
such as surgery, we work closely with the WMC Heart & Vascular team
to provide coordinated care.
Other Cardiovascular Services
The addition of cardiac catheterization services is a logical extension
of cardiovascular services already offered by Warren Memorial Hospital,
including EKG, nuclear stress testing and echocardiograms. We have been
a fully-accredited
Chest Pain Center since 2012. We offer
Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, a medically supervised exercise and education program designed to benefit
individuals who have a heart condition or lung disease.
Specialist Care
Valley Health is committed to making specialist care more accessible in
our local communities. We work in partnership with highly-experienced
physicians on our Heart & Vascular team so you can see a specialist
closer to home. Valley Health Warren Memorial Hospital Multispecialty
Clinic in Front Royal offers cardiology services with cardiologists
