Volunteer
This dedicated group of volunteers was formed even before there was a hospital
in Page County, brought together by a common interest in providing local
health care. Volunteers are focused on raising funds for their community hospital.
The purpose and mission of Page Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is to assist
Page Memorial Hospital in its mission to provide high quality health care
to our community by offering volunteer services to the hospital and patients.
Page Memorial Hospital Auxiliary exists exclusively for charitable purposes
by rendering service to the hospital, raising funds to promote the health
and welfare of the community and funding scholarships to further health
career education. The Auxiliary cordially invites both men and women to join.
Love Lights Celebration
Each year, the PMH Auxiliary provides the community with a wonderful way
to honor or memorialize loved ones during the holidays.
For a donation of $5 or more, a light will be placed on the Love Lights
Tree located outside of the hospital's main entrance. The Auxiliary
uses proceeds to help fund important hospital projects throughout the
year. Donation envelopes may be found at the hospital's information
desk and Gift Shop, as well as the Luray/Page County Chamber of Commerce.
The community is invited to attend a tree lighting ceremony on December
7, at 6:30 p.m., in the hospital's main lobby, during which the names
of all those being honored and memorialized will be read. Enjoy sounds
of the season and holiday cheer!.
