
Warren Memorial Hospital is proud to announce that Crystal Larson, LNHA,
administrator of Lynn Care Center, has been chosen by the American Health
Care Association and the National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL)
to join the association’s year-long Future Leaders Program, which
offers training and guidance to professionals working in long-term and
post-acute care settings.
At ANCA/NCAL we are always searching for the future leaders of our profession,
and after a thorough review, we have selected Crystal as one of our future
leaders,” said Mark Parkinson, president and CEO of ANCA/NCAL. “Crystal
has already made a positive impact on the lives of older people in her
community, and we are excited that our association will be play a role
in their future.”
As part of her application, Crystal cited her more than 18-years of experience
working in a variety of roles in the long-term care sector. She also expressed
her eagerness to share her wealth of knowledge and insight with other
long-term care leaders as well as learn from her colleagues throughout
the country the strides they are making to improve quality care to some
of our most vulnerable patients.
Prior to serving as administrator of Lynn Care, Crystal was administrator
of the Extended Care Unit at Hampshire Memorial Hospital and consultant
administrator for War Memorial Hospital’s Extended Care Unit. During
her tenure there, she led Hampshire’s efforts to improve its overall
resident satisfaction rate from 17% to an impressive 95%.
Through her participation in the ANCA/NCAL Future Leaders Program, Crystal
will have the opportunity to delve into the latest theories, trends and
practical applications in quality management, customer satisfaction and
leadership development.
